We are always looking for talented people to join our research team. Research assistants may work directly with youth or adults, engage in data collection, or conduct field observations. Intervention team

Intervention Team members work directly with youth & after school program staff. Team members may lead physically active games, deliver general health lessons or demonstrations, or provide consultation to after school program staff. Intervention Team members need to be positive role models & demonstrate an ability to connect positively with youth & adults. Intervention Team members are supervised by the Intervention Director.

Measurement Team

Measurement Team members specialize in data collection & management. This includes data derived from surveys, anthropometric measures (i.e., height & weight), observations, interviews/focus groups, & activity monitoring wearables. Measurement Team members work on site as well as in office & need to be adept at following specific protocol.

Evaluation Team

Evaluation Team members specialize in observational data collection. This team will be on site at various after school programs. Interactions with adolescents & after school program staff are minimal. Evaluation Team data are used to assess the quality of Connect program implementation. Evaluation Team members are supervised by the Project Director.
